About this site

Independent, privacy-first Git tools and carefully reviewed guidance for developers.

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Why it exists

Git is powerful, but small syntax mistakes and unclear error messages interrupt real work. This site pairs focused browser utilities with concise troubleshooting that starts from repository state instead of prescribing risky commands blindly.

How the tools work

The current tools perform their work in your browser. Inputs such as diffs, branch ideas, and commit messages are not sent to this site’s server. Each tool says “Processed locally” only because that is true of its implementation.

Independent publication

This is an independent educational and utility website. It is not the Git project, GitHub, GitLab, or an official partner of those organizations. See the trademark notice and editorial policy.
